The preview images and synopsis for the 27th episode (Season 2, Episode 3) of the second season of the TV anime Jujutsu Kaisen (aired on MBS/TBS), which is covering the "Hidden Inventory / Premature Death" arc, airing on the 20th, have been revealed.

Jujutsu Kaisen Episode27 Synopsis

After fending off the curse users who were after Amanai’s bounty, Gojo and Geto suddenly notice Amanai's phone trembling. On the screen is a captured Kuroi. Considering that the kidnappers might propose a hostage exchange, Gojo decides to bring Amanai back to Jujutsu High. However, Amanai declares that she will join the negotiations herself, and the three head together to the designated location.

Jujutsu Kaisen is a dark fantasy anime based on the manga of the same name, which started serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2018. The story begins when a high school student, Yuji Itadori, becomes involved in a battle over curses after the seal of a powerful cursed object is broken.

The manga series has exceeded 80 million copies in circulation. The first season of the anime aired from October 2020 to March 2021 and gained widespread popularity, followed by a theatrical film in December 2021. The second season of the anime began airing in July 2023.
