The official spin-off manga BLUELOCK -EPISODE NAGI- concluded with its final chapter in the August issue of Bessatsu Shonen Magazine, released on July 9. The series wraps up a three-year serialization that began in June 2022. The eighth and final volume of the manga will be released on August 12.

It follows a bold national project initiated by Japan to cultivate the ultimate forward (FW) following a defeat in the World Cup. The initiative gathers 300 high school players—all forwards—in an intense competition where only one will emerge as Japan’s revolutionary striker, while the remaining 299 risk losing their football careers. The series has surpassed 40 million copies in circulation.
