Rin Itoshi & Yoichi Isagi from Blue Lock Grace the Cover of anan with Special Character Index Bonus
Rin Itoshi and Yoichi Isagi from the anime Blue Lock will feature on the cover of the December 11 special edition of the women’s magazine anan. Rin, the undisputed king of Blue Lock and its captain, joins Isagi, the protagonist who has shown remarkable evolution through each selection phase and finally secured a spot in the U-20 match starting eleven.
The second season of the anime focuses on Rin’s inner struggles, his hunger for victory and growth, and the complicated relationship with his brother, Sae Itoshi, which serves as a key trigger for his darkness. The cover illustration captures the intense determination and aura of these two characters as they prepare for the battle of a lifetime.
Special anan Edition: Character Index and More
Following the success of the April issue featuring Blue Lock: Episode Nagi, this edition includes a character index bonus. Seven newly spotlighted characters—Sae Itoshi, Oliver Aiku, Tabito Karasu, Kageya Otoya, Kenyu Yukimiya, Shidou Ryusei, and Shoei Barou—are introduced with profile data on the back of thick paper cards.
Main characters like Isagi, Rin, and Nagi, who were part of the previous set, receive updated visual cards featuring new scenes and uniforms from the current season. The magazine also includes solo illustrations of the cover art, presented both in the magazine and as cards.
Note: These special bonuses are exclusive to the Blue Lock-themed special edition cover.
