The synopsis and preview images for Episode 23 of the anime Jujutsu Kaisen, currently airing in the “Super Animeism” slot on MBS/TBS, have been released.

Jujutsu Kaisen Episode23 Synopsis

In Episode 23, titled "Origin of Obedience – Part 2", airing on the 19th, Itadori, Fushiguro, and Kugisaki confront one of the Cursed Wombs: Death Paintings, known as Kechizu, in addition to the curse of Yasohachi Bridge. Inside the barrier of the Yasohachi Bridge curse, Kugisaki is suddenly dragged by her arm and disappears outside the barrier. Itadori pursues Kechizu, the other Death Painting that fled outside, while Fushiguro quickly takes care of the Yasohachi Bridge curse, only to witness a shocking scene. Meanwhile, Kugisaki faces another Cursed Womb, Eso, and is soon joined by both Kechizu and Itadori.

The anime is based on the manga of the same name, serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump (Shueisha). The story is a dark fantasy where high school student Yuji Itadori steps into the world of battles over curses after the seal of a powerful cursed object is broken. The series has surpassed 36 million copies in circulation.
