While chasing Mahito, Yuji Itadori heads from Meiji-Jingumae Station to Shibuya Station, where he is suddenly approached by a small Mechamaru, whose form covers its ears.

Mechamaru brings the worst possible news: "Satoru Gojo has been sealed." Although initially skeptical, Itadori and his companions come to understand the situation through Mechamaru’s explanation. They immediately inform all sorcerers of Gojo’s sealing and begin the mission to rescue him.

Jujutsu Kaisen is a dark fantasy anime based on the manga of the same name, which started serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2018. The story begins when a high school student, Yuji Itadori, becomes involved in a battle over curses after the seal of a powerful cursed object is broken.

The manga has surpassed 80 million copies in circulation. The TV anime aired from October 2020 to March 2021 and gained immense popularity. It was adapted into a theatrical anime in December 2021, and the second season has been airing since July 2023.
