Cybird Co., Ltd. has announced that the "5th Detective Conan Certification Exam" will be held in the summer of 2024. Successful candidates will receive a certification featuring an illustration drawn by Gosho Aoyama, the original creator of Detective Conan. Additionally, the rewards have undergone a significant overhaul.

What is the Detective Conan Certification Exam?

The Detective Conan Certification Exam tests knowledge of the Detective Conan comics and is hosted by Cybird Co., Ltd. The exam is divided into three levels, from 1st to 3rd, and a certification featuring an illustration by Gosho Aoyama is issued based on the correct answer rate. Rewards include acrylic keychains shaped like ema (votive tablets), limited wallpapers, and special rewards for perfect scores.

• Early Registration Period: Tuesday, July 16, 2024, 12:00 PM to Wednesday, July 31, 2024, 11:59 PM
• General Registration Period: Thursday, August 1, 2024, 12:00 AM to Tuesday, October 29, 2024, 11:59 PM
• Exam Period: Thursday, August 1, 2024, 12:00 PM to Wednesday, November 6, 2024, 11:59 PM
• Eligibility: Open to anyone, no limit on the number of attempts
• Exam Format: Online exam via internet-enabled devices (time limit applies)
• Content Coverage: Detective Conan original comics (up to Volume 100)

Exam Categories

• 3rd Level: 10 name quizzes, 30 dialogue quizzes, 20 volume quizzes (total of 60 questions)
• 2nd Level: 5 name quizzes, 20 dialogue quizzes, 5 volume quizzes, 15 trick quizzes, 15 knowledge quizzes (total of 60 questions)
• 1st Level: 20 dialogue quizzes, 10 volume quizzes, 15 trick quizzes, 15 knowledge quizzes (total of 60 questions)

Passing Criteria

• 70% correct answer rate for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd levels

Exam Fees

• Each level: ¥5,000 course, ¥6,000 course (tax included)
• Re-examination discount: ¥1,000 off (not applicable for exams from the 1st to the 4th sessions)

"Detective Conan Land" will be held from Friday, July 5, 2024, to Monday, January 13, 2025, at the DiverCity Tokyo Plaza 4F special venue.
