The story and preview images for Episode 1 of the TV anime "Gachiakuta" have been revealed. The episode will air on Sunday, July 6 at 11:30 p.m. (JST), followed by streaming on platforms worldwide.

Rudo, a boy living in the slums, sneaks into the waste disposal site as usual, searching for still-usable trash.

There, he finds a stuffed animal and decides to gift it to Chiwa, the girl he secretly has feelings for.

However, on his way back, Rudo witnesses something truly unbelievable.

It has been announced that Miku Ito will voice Chiwa, Rudo’s first love. Living in the same slums as Rudo, Chiwa is a girl he quietly admires. Along with the casting announcement, a comment from Miku Ito has been released.

Introduction

Gachiakuta is a battle action series featuring an orphan boy named Rudo, born in a slum where the descendants of criminals live.
People in the slums are looked down upon and discriminated against as “tribesfolk” by those who live beyond its walls.
Rudo lives together with Regto, the man who raised him, and makes ends meet using his extraordinary physical abilities, despite being called a “trash raider.”
Then one day, he’s falsely accused of a crime and dropped into a fearsome abyss known as the Pit.
