Relive the Decade-Long Heroic Journey Through Art

The My Hero Academia Original Art Exhibition, celebrating ten years of Kohei Horikoshi’s iconic series, has opened its doors at CREATIVE MUSEUM TOKYO. Running from June 21 to August 31, 2025, the show features 564 total exhibits, including 19 brand-new illustrations drawn exclusively for the event.

The exhibition is divided into six themed zones, guiding visitors through the series' narrative evolution—from Deku’s humble beginnings to the climactic showdown with All For One and Tomura Shigaraki. Visitors can explore original manga manuscripts, storyboard sketches, color art, and production materials rarely seen outside the studio.

Themed Zones Bring Iconic Moments to Life

Zone 1: “Dreams Become Reality”
Highlights Deku’s encounter with All Might and the early stages of hero training. 138 works across 86 framed displays reflect the hopeful beginning of the story.

Zone 2: “The Collapse of a Saturated Hero Society”
Presents the prelude to the second major battle. It includes 109 pieces featuring digital and hand-drawn materials. The centerpiece is a life-size statue of "Dark Deku," created by figure masters WATANABE × REN, based on a new sketch by Horikoshi.

Zone 3: “The Final War”
This immersive panoramic zone depicts the chaotic battlefield of the second war, allowing fans to experience the intensity of hero-villain combat through 132 frames of dramatic art.

Zone 4: “Connected Through Belief”
Displays 138 original works capturing the emotional climax with Shigaraki and All For One. The highlight is a massive visual titled Heroes vs. Villains, designed as a photo spot for fans.

Zone 5: “A Return to Daily Life”
Spotlights peaceful moments post-battle with 47 pieces including Chapter 431’s roughs and the Snapshot series—intimate scenes imagined as photos taken by Deku.

Beyond the galleries, visitors can enjoy an official shop with over 100 exclusive items and a themed café offering character-inspired menu items (reservation ticket required). Note: Admission is by timed entry only and all July tickets are sold out.
