Kingdom Vol. 80 Leads as Made in Abyss Vol. 15 Debuts at No. 2

Kingdom Vol. 80 remained at No. 1 in this week’s Oricon manga ranking with estimated weekly physical sales of 85,164 copies in Japan. Made in Abyss Vol. 15 entered the chart at No. 2 with 62,355 copies, while Blue Lock Vol. 40 moved down one place to No. 3 with 32,573 copies.

Kingdom Vol. 80 remained the best-selling manga of the week with an estimated 85,164 physical copies sold. That was down 69.6% from its opening-week total of 280,215 copies, but the volume still finished 22,809 copies ahead of the week’s No. 2 title.

Its estimated cumulative sales reached 365,379 copies after two chart appearances. Kingdom is created by Yasuhisa Hara.

Made in Abyss Makes a No. 2 Debut

Made in Abyss Vol. 15 entered the ranking at No. 2 with an estimated 62,355 copies sold during the week.

The new volume immediately became the strongest new entry in the Top 10 and accounted for nearly one-fifth of the combined sales of this week’s ten ranked titles. The fantasy manga is created by Akihito Tsukushi.

Blue Lock Slips to No. 3

Blue Lock Vol. 40 moved from No. 2 to No. 3 with estimated weekly sales of 32,573 copies, compared with 94,251 copies in the previous week.
Its estimated cumulative sales reached 127,399 copies. The manga is written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura.

A More Evenly Distributed Top 10

The Top 10 generated an estimated 319,009 physical copies in total this week, compared with 620,992 in the previous ranking.

The Top 3 accounted for 56.5% of the Top 10 total, down from 72.0% a week earlier. Alongside Made in Abyss Vol. 15, The Saga of Tanya the Evil Vol. 35 and Kimi to Bara Iro no Hibi Vol. 4 also made their first chart appearances.
