In a document titled "Regarding Kalafina," Kajiura clarified that she has no involvement in the upcoming concert: "It seems they have decided to move forward as a new Kalafina, separate from my production and without my knowledge. Although I had been exploring the possibility of creating music together again, it is now clear that such a future is no longer possible."

She went on to express her admiration for the members: "They are truly three amazing vocalists. I am certain they will continue to deliver wonderful music and performances to their fans. I remain deeply grateful for the happiness of creating music together for nearly ten years, and I sincerely wish Kalafina great success in their future endeavors."

Kalafina was formed in 2008 as a project led by Kajiura to create theme songs for the animated film series The Garden of Sinners. After Kajiura left the production in February 2018, the group officially disbanded in March 2019. At the time, their agency explained: "After Yuki Kajiura's contract ended in February 2018, some members also left the company, and the group effectively ceased its activities. While we explored various possibilities, it was determined that resuming Kalafina's activities would be difficult, leading to the formal announcement of their disbandment."

Regarding Kalafina:

With the recent announcement of Kalafina’s live performance, I have received inquiries regarding my involvement. However, I, Yuki Kajiura, am not involved in this upcoming event in any capacity. Furthermore, I have not received any official notification or explanation from either the event organizers or any of the members regarding this concert.

Given this situation, I am unable to answer any questions regarding this event. I kindly ask that all future inquiries related to Kalafina be directed to the concert organizers or the agencies representing the members.

The Kalafina members have chosen to continue as a new Kalafina, apart from my production and without my involvement. While I had hoped to find a path to create music together with Kalafina again, it is now a future that cannot be realized. Although this is disappointing, it is a clear path the members have chosen. As individuals pursuing our own musical paths, this outcome is inevitable.

As you all know, they are truly three incredible vocalists. I am sure they will continue to deliver wonderful music and performances to their fans. I once again express my heartfelt gratitude for the joy of creating music together over nearly a decade, and I wish Kalafina all the best in their future endeavors.
