The TV Tokyo anime BEYBLADE X (airs every Friday at 6:25 PM) will enter a new chapter starting October 18. It was announced on the 13th that L'ArcenCiel will provide the new opening theme, while Perfume will perform the new ending theme.

L'ArcenCiel’s new song is titled "YOU GOTTA RUN," their first new release in about three years since the 2021 single "FOREVER." Perfume’s new track, "Cosmic Treat," is set to be included in their upcoming album Nebula Romance Part 1.

A new key visual has also been revealed, featuring the protagonists and new characters against the backdrop of the illuminated X Tower. The anime’s story is set in a world where Beyblade has become a professional sport, with teams like Persona aiming to reach the top of the X Tower.

L'ArcenCiel Comment:

"As someone who is constantly thinking about what can be conveyed through words and voice, I was immediately captivated. I really wanted to be part of this project, so I’m extremely happy. I particularly enjoy how the protagonist's recitation scenes are expressed. Through the audition, I got to experience the original work, which made me reflect on the raw emotions and logic-based talent that resonates with me personally. Since it closely relates to voice acting, I feel a strong sense of responsibility. I sympathize with Syuudai’s honesty and refusal to compromise, and I hope to bring that to life in my portrayal of him. While his character evolves, I want to consistently portray the things that matter most to him, regardless of how his image shifts."
