'Blue Lock' Season 2 Ending Theme is Snow Man's "One" — PV Released; Daisuke Sakuma Says, "It's a Song About Ego"
The second promotional video (PV) for the TV anime 'BLUELOCK' Season 2 (set to air on TV Asahi from October 5 for a total of 14 episodes), titled 'Blue Lock VS. U-20 JAPAN', has been released. The ending theme song has been announced as "One" by Snow Man.
"One" is included in Snow Man's 4th album "RAYS", set to release on October 30. Daisuke Sakuma, a fan of the series, commented, "I became a fan of 'Blue Lock' after watching the anime, so I'm very happy to be able to add flair to it.
The ending theme song 'One' is a medium-tempo ballad where each member of Snow Man takes turns singing. It's a song about fighting spirit, dreams, and 'ego' that burns hotter and bluer than red, all embedded within a quiet melody. I think it's a perfect match for the world of 'Blue Lock'."
The released PV depicts Isagi and others challenging the competition for regular positions and the aptitude test (tryouts) for the match against the U-20 Japan National Team. While egoistic and strong-willed strikers like Rin Itoshi, Ryusei Shidou, Tabito Karasu, and Kageya Otoya dynamically showcase their unique skills, Isagi admits, "At this rate, it'll end without me being able to do anything," showing signs of struggle.
Towards the end of the PV, Sae Itoshi and Oliver Aiku of the U-20 Japan National Team appear, accompanied by the ending theme song "One," whose audio is being unveiled for the first time. How formidable are these two who stand in the way of 'Blue Lock'?
