The 16-page feature inside dives deep into the "Blue Lock Project," an intense initiative aiming to develop the world's best striker from among 300 high school forwards gathered nationwide. The feature outlines the project's stringent details and highlights unique to the film version, ensuring even newcomers can easily follow along.

The special also includes a look at the team dynamics and individual performances, highlighting the camaraderie between Nagi and Reo Mikage, as well as other focal points of the film.

Included are interviews with the production staff and cast. Manga creator Muneyuki Kaneshiro, along with Toshinori Ishikawa who served as the assistant director for the TV series and director for the film, discuss the allure of what is dubbed "the hottest and most intense soccer manga ever," and the enjoyment of its animation.
