The second promotional video for the all-new TV anime Ranma 1/2 (set to premiere on October 5) has been released, featuring the debut of the opening theme song "Iinazukkyun," sung by Ano.
Additionally, the illustration for the limited edition cover of "Iinazukkyun" has been unveiled. Created by MAPPA, the vibrant artwork is packed with characters and has a lively atmosphere.
Ano herself is also drawn in the style of Ranma and expressed her excitement on X (formerly Twitter), saying, "This specially drawn cover art is way too cute!" Fans responded enthusiastically, saying, "I’m so happy Ano-chan is part of the Ranma world, I'm crying!" "Ano-chan looks so cute she could fit right into the Ranma cast," "Ano-chan has become an adorable character—she’s totally part of the Ranma crew," "I want to see her unleash a special move," and "Even her tongue pose is perfectly recreated!"
Ranma 1/2 follows the story of high schooler Ranma Saotome, who turns into a girl when splashed with water, and his fiancée Akane Tendo, as they navigate daily life filled with martial arts and romantic comedy, involving those around them. The original TV anime aired from 1989 to 1992, followed by theatrical films and OVA adaptations. In 2011, a live-action drama starring Yui Aragaki as Akane was also released.
