On September 18, the jacket cover and full tracklist for the upcoming non-stop anime song compilation CD Animetic LOVE: Longing to Hear That Anime Song Again (set for release on October 23) were unveiled. This album is part of the popular Love Story J-POP non-stop mix compilation series and features theme songs and opening themes from popular TV anime.

The CD features a total of 36 tracks, all seamlessly blended into an exclusive non-stop mix available only on this CD. The jacket cover features Madoka Ayukawa, the protagonist of the TV anime Kimagure Orange Road, which aired 48 episodes starting in 1987. The illustration was designed by Akemi Takada, the character designer for the anime.

There are six types of limited-edition purchase bonuses available. All bonuses feature the CD jacket artwork. Village Vanguard offers an acrylic keychain, Shinseido and WonderGOO offer a clear file, Tower Records provides a smartphone sticker, HMV offers a postcard, TSUTAYA includes a pin badge, and Amazon offers a mega jacket.
