A new visual for the TV anime "Kaiju No. 8" (scheduled for broadcast in April 2024) has been released. This month's second installment features Kikoru Shinomiya, celebrated as the Japan Defense Force's top talent.

Previous anime visuals have prominently featured Kikoru with a serious expression, ready with her weapon. However, this latest visual contrasts that with a softer atmosphere, showing her reading alone.

The background, reminiscent of California where her alma mater is located, is destroyed by monsters, giving a glimpse into the everyday life in a world with monsters. Anticipation is growing for how she will be portrayed in the anime, as she has not yet appeared in any footage.
