The latest visuals for the TV anime "Kaiju No. 8" (scheduled for broadcast in April 2024) have been released. The new visuals feature the main characters from the Japan Defense Force, including Kafka Hibino, Reno Ichikawa, Mina Ashiro, Kikoru Shinomiya, Soshiro Hoshina, and Monster No. 8.

The visuals showcase the Defense Force members in action, with Kafka at the forefront, seemingly engaged in battle with a monster. These vibrant and dynamic visuals, along with the Monster No. 8 in a "high-power state" poised to strike, amplify the anticipation for the intense action scenes depicted in the latest promotional video.

"Kaiju No. 8" is set in a world where disasters (monsters) mercilessly invade everyday life, with Japan, which has one of the highest monster emergence rates in the world, as the stage. The story follows 32-year-old Kafka Hibino, who works in a company cleaning up the remains of monsters defeated by the Defense Force. As he pursues his dream of becoming a "Defense Force officer," he is transformed into a monster by a mysterious creature and becomes known as "Monster No. 8" by the Japan Defense Force.

Since its serialization began in July 2020 on "Shonen Jump+," the manga has rapidly become a flagship title, surpassing 30 million views in record time. The total circulation of the comics has exceeded 11 million copies. The manga also won the grand prize in the "Web Manga Category" of the "Next Manga Awards 2021," announced on August 24, 2021, based on user votes, and achieved the top annual sales for its first volume in 2020.
