The manga My Home Hero (original story by Naoki Yamakawa, illustrated by Masashi Asaki) is set to conclude in just 5 more chapters, bringing an end to its 7-year serialization that began in 2017.

Ahead of this announcement, the cover color illustration and the first few pages of the 31st issue of Weekly Young Magazine, set to be released on July 1, have been revealed.

Since its debut in Weekly Young Magazine in 2017, the story follows Tetsuo Tosu, a regular office worker who loves his only daughter, Reika. One day, he notices bruises on Reika’s face. Despite his persistent questioning, Reika remains evasive about the cause. On his way home, Tetsuo spots a suspicious man whom he believes to be the culprit and starts following him.

This marks the beginning of a series of events that will change the fate of his family. Driven by his love for his daughter and family, Tetsuo steps onto a dangerous path in this crime suspense story.

The manga has surpassed 4 million copies in circulation and was adapted into a live-action drama in 2023, with a live-action film set to release in 2024.
