"Some may think, 'Still five more chapters!?' while others may think, 'Only five more chapters!?' Opinions may vary, but I'll do my best to make sure everyone enjoys the last five chapters with Deku and the others! Although it has been a bumpy ride, being able to draw Deku and the others for almost ten years is thanks to everyone who kept reading," he expressed his gratitude to the readers. "It was like a dream. Thank you so much! See you again in Jump!" he called out.

"My Hero Academia," which began serialization on July 7, 2014, is set in a world where people with supernatural abilities called "quirks" are commonplace. It follows the story of the protagonist, Izuku Midoriya (Deku), who aims to become a "hero" protecting society and fighting against villains who misuse their quirks. He grows alongside his friends at the prestigious hero training school, U.A. High School.
