A real-time screening event for the 7th season of the TV anime "My Hero Academia" (airing every Saturday at 5:30 PM) has been scheduled to take place on the 22nd at TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills. The event will feature Yūki Kaji (voice of Shoto Todoroki) and Hiro Shimono (voice of Dabi).

Among the highlights of the 7th season of "My Hero Academia," both manga readers and anime fans are eagerly anticipating the intense battle between Shoto Todoroki and his brother Dabi, also known as Toya Todoroki. To further amplify the excitement of this clash, voice actors Yūki Kaji and Hiro Shimono will appear on stage during the real-time anime broadcast screening event.

In the 6th season's "Paranormal Liberation War Arc," the episode where it was revealed that the villain Dabi is the son of pro hero Endeavor and Shoto Todoroki’s older brother caused a significant stir. Manga readers had been waiting for this development in the anime, exclaiming "It’s finally here!" Meanwhile, anime viewers who learned this fact for the first time were left in shock, saying "No way!?" This long-standing feud between the brothers will finally culminate in a direct confrontation in the 7th season.

During the event, the 7th episode (No. 145) "INFLATION," which airs on the 15th, will be screened first. Additionally, the 8th episode (No. 146), airing on the day of the event, will be shown in real-time on the big screen, synced with the TV broadcast.

In between the screenings, Yūki Kaji and Hiro Shimono will take the stage for a talk session. They will discuss the episode that is about to air and share their thoughts immediately after it concludes.

Tickets for the event will go on sale at TOHO Cinemas' internet ticketing system "vit" from midnight on the 10th. They will also be available at the theater box office from the theater's opening on the same day.

The series, based on a popular manga with over 100 million copies in circulation, is set in a world where having superpowers, known as "quirks," is commonplace. The story follows the protagonist Izuku Midoriya (Deku) as he grows alongside his friends at the prestigious U.A. High School, training to become a "hero" who protects society and battles against villains who misuse their quirks.
