Julio Gandini and Anna Scelvino, voiced by Mamoru Miyano and Meru Nukumi respectively, are original characters designed by the series' creator Kohei Horikoshi. Julio is a butler serving the wealthy Scelvino family. He is usually calm and polite, but occasionally reveals a rough side. Anna, the daughter of the Scelvino family, possesses a special "Quirk" that attracts the villain Dark Might. These two characters play crucial roles in the story.

A declared fan of 'My Hero Academia,' Meru Nukumi expressed her joy, saying, "As a fan of 'My Hero Academia,' it feels like a dream to be part of this project. I've always wanted to try voice acting, so I was thrilled!" Mamoru Miyano also shared his excitement, stating, "I've seen many of my fellow voice actors participate in this series, so I'm really fired up for this opportunity!"

The original manga, which has surpassed 100 million copies in circulation, is set in a world where superpowers known as "Quirks" are common. The story follows protagonist Izuku Midoriya (Deku) as he strives to become a hero and fight villains who misuse their Quirks. The series has been serialized in 'Weekly Shonen Jump' since July 2014, with its first TV anime season airing in April 2016. The seventh season of the TV anime is currently airing.

The movie, featuring an original story supervised and designed by Kohei Horikoshi, is set in the same timeline as the anime's seventh season. It portrays a society ravaged by the battles between heroes and villains, with escaped villains roaming free. Just before the final showdown between Deku and the villains, a major incident shakes the world.

"I never thought I'd have the chance to appear in 'My Hero Academia,' so I am truly honored! I play Julio, an original character for the movie. He is shrouded in mystery, and talking too much about him would spoil the movie (laughs), but his unique 'Quirk' becomes a crucial element in the story. The relationship between Julio and Anna is also significant, so please pay attention to it! This film made me reflect deeply on what it means to be a 'hero.' I hope many people will watch it. Please look forward to its release."

Meru Nukumi's Comment as Anna Scelvino:

I was really happy to get the opportunity to try voice acting, something I've always wanted to challenge myself with! I was extremely nervous, but many people helped me, and I enjoyed the recording process. I'm happy to have been able to enter the world of 'My Hero Academia.' I participated with the hope that it reaches many people."
