The newly released scene cuts feature parts of the original story set in the midst of the sixth season's "Paranormal Liberation War" arc, where many villains have escaped from prisons across Japan, threatening society. Deku and the rest of Class 1-A from U.A. High School take on hero duties, searching for the notorious villain All For One. The cuts showcase the students' expressions and unique personalities as they secure and transport villains. The transition to action scenes with Deku, Katsuki Bakugo, and Shoto Todoroki hints at intense battles, with notable pro heroes like Endeavor, Hawks, Best Jeanist, and Mt. Lady also making appearances, suggesting the beginning of a major incident.

Additionally, three key original characters are introduced in this film. Among them is a girl with vacant eyes and a melancholic expression, and a young man with red hair and a distinctive black eyepatch, seen confidently riding a motorcycle and wielding a gun. Their allegiance remains unclear. Another crucial character is Dark Might, a villain who resembles All Might but has opposing ideals focused on destruction. The film teases how these characters will intertwine with the story and the larger-than-life scale of the plot, highlighted by a colossal fortress emitting an eerie and menacing aura.

The movie's original story is supervised and character-designed by the manga's creator, Kohei Horikoshi, and aligns with the timeline of the TV anime's seventh season, which starts airing on May 4. Set in a society ravaged by battles between heroes and villains, the story leads up to a major event just before the final showdown between Deku and the villains. The manga, serialized since July 2014 in "Weekly Shonen Jump," has surpassed 100 million copies in circulation and follows Deku as he trains at U.A. High School to become a hero, defending society against villains who misuse their quirks.
