"Jump GIGA 2024 SPRING" Features "My Hero Academia" as the Series Surpasses 100 Million Copies Worldwide
The latest issue of "Jump GIGA 2024 SPRING," released on the 30th, celebrates "My Hero Academia" (by Kohei Horikoshi) surpassing 100 million copies in worldwide distribution.
The cover features a new illustration by Mr. Horikoshi of Izuku Midoriya and Katsuki Bakugo, commemorating the series reaching 100 million copies. Mr. Horikoshi commented on the illustration, "I drew it imagining the moment when both were praised by All Might!"
This illustration is also included in a set of four "MHA" supplements, consisting of coasters and posters.
Additionally, in celebration of the Amano Akira exhibition, there is a poster featuring a newly drawn illustration by Hitsushi Gondaira from the popular TV anime " Mission: Yozakura family " along with a card collection of popular characters from various series. In total, this issue comes with six luxurious supplements. Moreover, the cover's new illustration is available as a merchandise item for all applicants. The lead color pages feature "Black Clover" (by Yuki Tabata), and the center color is dedicated to "Ashimaru" (by Ikuo Hachiya).
