The official X account for the manga "My Hero Academia" has been updated to report an error in some of the popularity poll results announced today and has issued an apology.

Titled "Apology," the post on X reported, "We have received multiple messages suggesting that there may be an error on the 'My Hero Academia' popularity poll results page published in today's issue of Weekly Shonen Jump No. 19, released on April 8 (Monday)."

"It has been confirmed that some of the data compiled was incorrect," the statement continued. "We are currently investigating to ensure there are no other mistakes besides the ones pointed out. Once the investigation is concluded, we plan to announce the new poll results through this account. We deeply apologize for any concern and inconvenience this may have caused. Thank you for your understanding."

The series, which has surpassed a total circulation of 100 million copies, is set in a world where people with superpowers known as "Quirks" are commonplace. It follows the protagonist, Izuku Midoriya (Deku), as he strives to become a "Hero" who protects society and combats criminals misusing their Quirks, growing alongside his peers at the prestigious U.A. High School.

Serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" since July 2014, the first season of the TV anime started in April 2016, and movies have also been released. The seventh season of the TV anime is set to air from May, continuing the success of this highly popular series.
