"My Hero Academia" Season 7's OP by TK from Ling Tosite Sigure, Broadcasting Starts May 4

The theme song information for the seventh season of the TV anime "My Hero Academia" has been announced. The OP artist has been decided as TK from Ling Tosite Sigure.

TK commented, "I always pondered what I, who lacks individuality and talent and is far from being a hero, could create for this work. When a soap bubble, flying in front of me, reflected a vivid rainbow and left its shape on the concrete before disappearing, the theme of this song was born. This battle, even as we are deprived and even as we acquire pain, is it for ourselves or for someone else? May the brilliance piercing through this tattered world be engraved together with this song." The latest series, "My Hero Academia" Season 7, starts broadcasting on May 4, with "My Hero Academia Memories," presenting key stories leading up to Season 7 with new scenes, scheduled for April 6, 13, 20, and 27 in four episodes.

The story of Season 7 begins from Chapter 329, recorded in Volume 34 of the original comics. After a lonely battle, Deku, having received his classmates' feelings, renews his resolve to fight "not alone, but together with everyone." Shigaraki Tomura, while being consumed by the great evil All For One, pushes forward with the belief to "destroy everything." The heroes and villains, centered around these two, are finally heading towards the final battle.

This work is based on a popular manga with over 85 million copies in circulation, set in a world where it's commonplace for people to have supernatural abilities called "Quirks." The protagonist, Izuku Midoriya (Deku), aspires to become a "Hero" to protect society and counter criminals "Villains" who misuse their Quirks, growing along with his peers at the prestigious hero academy, U.A. High School.
