To celebrate the 45th anniversary, iconic scenes from the Gundam series are being reimagined and newly illustrated, and these will be released sequentially. The second commemorative illustration was unveiled, taken from "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED" PHASE-39 "Athrun."

The newly released illustration depicts the memorable scene where Cagalli Yula Athha hugs Athrun Zala and Kira Yamato, with the Freedom Gundam as the background, shown from a new perspective.
