In celebration of the 30th anniversary of the TV anime "Mobile Fighter G Gundam," a commemorative illustration has been released.

Additionally, in the summer of 2024, a brand new side story scenario created by Yasuhiro Imagawa, the chief director of "Mobile Fighter G Gundam," has been confirmed.

This side story, along with the continuation of the main story, will be posted on the "Mobile Fighter G Gundam" official website. A character with a distinctive hairstyle, whose design sketches were revealed during the "Gundam Series 45th Anniversary Special Broadcast," will play an important role in the story. How this character will interact with Domon, Master Asia, and others will be detailed in upcoming announcements. The released illustration by animator Shinpei Sawa features Domon, Rain, Master Asia, Chibodee, Sai Saici, George, Argo, Schwarz, Allenby, and God Gundam against a sunrise backdrop, a recurring and striking scene from the series.

"Mobile Fighter G Gundam," which aired from 1994 to 1995, is known for its unique premise within the Gundam series. Fighters representing their countries compete in the "Gundam Fight," a martial arts tournament to avoid large-scale wars in space and determine global dominance.

Countries compete on Earth in the Gundam Fight, where Gundams battle to grant the winning nation governance for the next four years. The 13th Gundam Fight is depicted, showcasing the struggles and triumphs of the protagonist, Domon Kasshu.

"The undefeated East has perished far away... The things I left unfinished, the things I ignored... They've been raging in my head for 30 years. Lacking a ring, I sulked and got roundly plump. But now, my hands burning red, I finally punched through the wall to the outside world! Whose fight will begin? Just a little longer until the gong rings!"
