To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the 1994 TV broadcast of the anime "Mobile Fighter G Gundam," the "Gundam GWX 30th Anniversary Project" for the three pioneering alternative series set outside the Universal Century— "Mobile Fighter G Gundam," "Mobile Suit Gundam Wing," and "After War Gundam X"—has been launched.

In celebration of the project's commencement, a special commemorative illustration featuring the protagonists Domon Kasshu, Heero Yuy, and Garrod Ran dressed in tuxedos has been released. Various anniversary plans will be implemented over the next three years.

In 2024, the anniversary project for "Mobile Fighter G Gundam" is scheduled to unfold, starting with the release of a 30th-anniversary logo inspired by God Gundam, as well as development sketches of new characters.

"Mobile Fighter G Gundam," aired from 1994 to 1995, became a standout work in the "Gundam" series by portraying martial artists from various countries competing for world supremacy using Gundams in a martial arts tournament known as "Gundam Fight."

To avoid large-scale wars in space, countries devised the Gundam Fight system, allowing Gundams to battle as representatives of each nation on Earth as the ring, with the winning country gaining the right to lead for the next four years. The 13th Gundam Fight tournament is depicted, showing the struggles and triumphs of the protagonist Domon Kasshu and others.
