The box office information for the first theatrical version of the anime "Uma Musume," titled "Uma Musume Pretty Derby: BEGINNING OF A NEW ERA" (released on May 24), has been announced. In 24 days since its release, it has surpassed 660,000 viewers and $6,369,427 (according to Eiga Tsushinsha). The weekend attendance ranking (compiled from June 14 to 16) placed it in 5th place.

The first theatrical release in the series features Jungle Pocket aiming to be the strongest in the "Twinkle Series," depicting a new story of rivalry and improvement among contemporaries.

"Uma Musume" is a cross-media content that anthropomorphizes real racehorses such as Special Week, Silence Suzuka, and Tokai Teio, and has gained popularity through games, manga, anime, and more.

The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2018, the second season from January to March 2021, and the third season from October to December 2023. The manga "Uma Musume Cinderella Gray," featuring Oguri Cap as the protagonist, is currently serialized in "Weekly Young Jump." The voice actors also appear on music programs, and the series has been described as a "social phenomenon."
