The box office information for the first theatrical release of the anime "Uma Musume," titled "Uma Musume Pretty Derby: Beginning of a New Era" (released on May 24), has been announced. In its first 10 days, the film attracted 430,000 viewers and surpassed 600 million yen in revenue (according to Kogyo Tsushinsha). It ranked 4th in the weekend attendance rankings.

The first theatrical film in the series follows Jungle Pocket, who aims to become the strongest in the Twinkle Series, competing fiercely with rivals of the same generation in this new story.

"Uma Musume" is a cross-media content that transforms real racehorses like Special Week, Silence Suzuka, and Tokai Teio into characters, gaining popularity through games, manga, and anime.

The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2018, the second season from January to March 2021, and the third season is set to air from October to December 2023. In "Weekly Young Jump," a manga titled "Uma Musume Cinderella Gray" featuring Oguri Cap as the protagonist is currently serialized. The voice actors also appear on music programs, with the series being described as a "social phenomenon."

Theatrical Film Synopsis
