On X, he shared his impressions: "I watched the movie 'Uma Musume Pretty Derby: Beginning of a New Era' without knowing anything about it, and it was overwhelming."

He acclaimed the work, stating, "The cel animation's visuals are exemplary, showcasing truly remarkable screen creation. The sound, direction, and storytelling were all executed with confident hands. What moved me the most was the color design."

"The interplay of light and shadow in the underground horse path scene at the beginning, the race scenes that narrow your field of vision and make you feel suffocated, all of it thrilled me. The sudden live performance scene was a delightful cultural shock. I'm so glad I watched it!"

The first theatrical release in the series features Jungle Pocket, aiming to be the strongest in the Twinkle Series, depicting a new story of fierce competition with rivals of the same generation.

'Uma Musume' is a cross-media content that has gained popularity through its game, manga, and anime, featuring characters modeled after real racehorses like Special Week, Silence Suzuka, and Tokai Teio.

The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2018, the second season from January to March 2021, and the third season from October to December 2023. The manga "Uma Musume Cinderella Gray," starring Oguri Cap, is currently serialized in Weekly Young Jump. The voice actors also appear on music shows, and the series has been described as a "social phenomenon."
