The story and preview images for Episode 11 of From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman (JP: 片田舎のおっさん、剣聖になる, Katainaka no Ossan, Kensei ni Naru) have been released. This episode is scheduled to air in Japan on the TV Asahi network group starting June 14 at 11:30 PM (JST). Outside of Japan, the series will be available exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.

After successfully protecting the royal family from the assassins, Beryl and his group lose all leads to the mastermind due to the assassins’ simultaneous suicides—a disturbing turn of events. Lucy shares her belief with Beryl that the attack was orchestrated by someone on the side of Sphend Yardvania. At the heart of the matter lies the conflict between royal authority and religious power.

Beryl knows the attackers won’t give up after one failure, and deems it most reasonable to cancel the upcoming event to prevent another attempt on the prince’s life. However, the next day, the planned sightseeing tour of the capital goes on as scheduled—
