The story and preview images for Episode 6 of From Old Country Bumpkin to Master Swordsman (JP: 片田舎のおっさん、剣聖になる, Katainaka no Ossan, Kensei ni Naru) have been released. This episode is scheduled to air in Japan on the TV Asahi network group starting May 10 at 11:30 PM (JST). Outside of Japan, the series will be available exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.

The anime is based on the light novel written by Shigeru Sagazaki and illustrated by Tetsuhiro Nabeshima. Along with the manga adaptation by Kazuki Sato, the series has surpassed a total of 7 million copies in circulation.
