Set in the Taisho era, where man-eating demons reside, "Demon Slayer" follows the story of a young boy named Tanjiro Kamado. After his family is killed by demons, Tanjiro enlists in the Demon Slayer Corps to avenge his family and restore his demon-turned sister, Nezuko, back to human form.

The fourth season of the TV anime, titled "Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc," is based on volumes 15-16 of the original manga. In this season, Tanjiro and his companions receive training from the highest-ranking swordsmen, the Hashira, to become stronger. The series will start airing on Fuji TV every Sunday at 23:15 from May 12, 2024, with the first episode being a one-hour special.

The first episode, titled "To Defeat Muzan Kibutsuji," unfolds in the Hashira Village, where Tanjiro and two of the HASHIRA defeat two Upper Rank demons. The existence of Nezuko, who has conquered the sun, hints at a major upcoming battle with Muzan Kibutsuji. Amidst this, a HASHIRA's Meeting is convened at the Ubuyashiki Estate.
