"Demon Slayer," which was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from February 2016 to May 2020, is based on the manga of the same name and has exceeded 150 million copies in circulation. Set in the Taisho era in a world infested with man-eating demons, the story follows Tanjiro Kamado, a young boy who joins the "Demon Slayer Corps" to turn his demon-transformed sister Nezuko back into a human and to avenge his family slain by demons.

The first season of the anime was broadcast from April to September 2019, igniting its popularity and becoming a cultural phenomenon. The film "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train," which continues from the last episode of the anime, was released in October 2020 and became a massive hit, surpassing 40 billion yen in domestic box office revenue. The second season, "Entertainment District Arc," which continues the story from the movie, was broadcast from December 2021, followed by the third season, "Swordsmith Village Arc," which aired from April to June 2023.

The new anime series "Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc," set to air on Fuji TV from May 12, covers the story from volumes 15 to 16 of the original manga. In this arc, Tanjiro and his companions receive training from the highest-ranking swordsmen, the Pillars, to become stronger.
