The new installment of the popular TV anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba," titled "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc," is set to air on Fuji TV starting May 12. The first promotional video (PV) and key visual have also been released, with the first episode being a one-hour special.

The key visual, drawn by the production company ufotable, features the Rock Pillar, Gyomei Himejima, at the center, surrounded by the Water Pillar, Giyu Tomioka; the Wind Pillar, Sanemi Shinazugawa; the Love Pillar, Mitsuri Kanroji; the Serpent Pillar, Obanai Iguro; the Mist Pillar, Muichiro Tokito; and the Insect Pillar, Shinobu Kocho, spotlighting the Pillars in a captivating visual.

Additionally, the artists for the opening theme song "Mugen" (Dreamlike), a collaboration between MY FIRST STORY and HYDE, were unveiled for the first time, featuring two of Japan's leading artists together in one photo. "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Pillar Training Arc" covers the episodes from volumes 15 to 16 of the original manga, where Tanjiro and his companions receive training from the highest-ranked swordsmen, the Pillars, to become stronger. "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from February 2016 to May 2020, based on the manga of the same name, and has become a popular series with over 150 million copies of the comics in circulation.

Set in the Taisho era, where man-eating demons exist, the story follows Tanjiro Kamado, a young boy whose family is killed by demons. To turn his demon-turned sister Nezuko back into a human and avenge his family, he joins the Demon Slayer Corps and embarks on a journey. The first season of the TV anime aired from April to September 2019, becoming a social phenomenon and igniting the series' popularity. The film "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train," which continues from the anime's final episode, was released in October 2020, becoming a massive hit with over 40 billion yen in box office revenue in Japan alone. Following the movie, the second season of the anime, "Entertainment District Arc," aired from December 2021, and the continuation, the third season "Swordsmith Village Arc," aired from April 2023.
