The manga "Solo Leveling," popular in Japan and around the world, announced the launch of its anime project last July. Finally, on the 21st, the first anime key visual and a teaser PV were released.

The original work, which began serialization in 2019, is a Korean novel and manga created by DUBU (REDICE STUDIO), Chugong, and h-goon (published by D&C WEBTOON Biz). It has become a mega-hit work in Japan as well, surpassing 650 million PVs on the manga and novel service "Piccoma."

The story is set in a fictional modern world where gates connecting different dimensions to our world, monsters lurking within them, and awakened individuals known as Hunters have appeared. It is an action fantasy that follows E-rank Hunter, the weakest of mankind, Sung Jinwoo, who receives a special ability just before death and grows to become the strongest Hunter in the world. Although the main story has already concluded, it continues to be beloved by many fans.

The anime is directed by Shunji Nakashige, with series composition by Noboru Kimura, character design by Tomoko Sudo, and music by Hiroyuki Sawano. Animation production is handled by A-1 Pictures.
