Currently broadcasting on TOKYO MX and others, the anime "Solo Leveling" held world premieres ahead of its broadcast start last December in ten locations globally: Tokyo, Seoul in South Korea, Paris in France, Berlin in Germany, London in the UK, Los Angeles in the USA, Taipei in Taiwan, Bangkok in Thailand, Hong Kong, and Mumbai in India. Based on a South Korean novel, comic, and webtoon created by Chugong (writer), DUBU (REDICE STUDIO, artist), and adapted by h-goon (published by D&C MEDIA), the anime transports viewers to a world where portals called "Gates" connect different dimensions with our world, and individuals with special abilities, known as "Hunters," exist. Sung Jinwoo, a hunter dubbed the weakest of mankind and ranked lowest, suddenly gains the power to "level up" on his own. Overcoming numerous trials, Jinwoo climbs from the weakest to the strongest, eventually facing off against formidable foes.

The world premiere in Tokyo on December 10 featured Taishu Sakai as the protagonist Sung Jinwoo, Genta Nakamura as Kenjiro Moriboshi, and Reina Ueda as Shizuka Kosaka, who shared the appeal of their characters. Sakai expressed his joy and sense of responsibility in being part of a work eagerly awaited by fans worldwide.

The premiere events were a success, with fans who had been eagerly anticipating the anime's adaptation expressing their excitement. In Paris, attendees declared it a "masterpiece in the making!" and "everyone's looking forward to it!" In Los Angeles, fans said, "It was amazing! So much fun!" In Bangkok, "Absolutely the best!" In Hong Kong, "Really curious about what happens next!" And in Mumbai, "I've been looking forward to the anime for so long!" Photos of fans enjoying photo ops with panels and acquiring merchandise, along with full venues, highlighted the international interest in the anime.

Furthermore, "Solo Leveling" has achieved first place in streaming viewership rankings in various regions including North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, marking a successful start. A Crunchyroll representative remarked on the unprecedented viewing figures for a newly launched anime, surpassing all expectations. The non-credit opening movie released after the second episode has also surpassed 4 million global views, indicating significant enthusiasm for the series.

Following the anime's broadcast, the original work on Kakao Piccoma's SMARTOON platform has seen increased popularity, with Piccoma reporting continued top rankings in the SMARTOON division for a completed work.

In the United States, the "crossroads of the world," New York's Times Square featured a digital advertisement showcasing the English title "SOLO LEVELING" and the protagonist Sung Jinwoo, attracting considerable attention during its one-month display starting December 10.
