"Demon Slayer" to air in 70-minute extended edition with additional cast members Kenji Nojima and Junko Minagawa playing Mitsuri Kanroji's father and mother

 The 10th episode "Koibashira, Mitsuri Kanroji" of the third season of the "Demon Slayer" anime "TV anime 'Demon Slayer: The Village of the Swordsmith" (Fuji Television Network, every Sunday from 23:15) was aired on the 11th.

 Additional cast members were announced in the ending credits, with Kenji Nojima playing Mitsuri's father and Junko Minagawa playing her mother. The next and final episode (episode 11), which will be broadcast on the 18th, will be an expanded 70-minute episode.


 The first season of the TV anime aired from April to September 2019, igniting its popularity and making it a social phenomenon. The movie "Demon Slayer the Movie: Infinity Train", which is connected to the final episode of the anime, was released in October 2020 and became a blockbuster hit, grossing over 40 billion yen at the domestic box office, and the second TV anime season "Yugaku-hen", which follows the movie, aired from December 2021.

 The third season, "The Village of the Swordsmith," which follows the second season, is based on the story from the 12th volume of the original comics. For the first time in 113 years, the Jogen-no-oni-squad is missing a demon, and an angry Muzan gives further orders to the remaining Jogen-no-oni-squad demons. Meanwhile, Haganezuka is furious with Tanjiro for spilling his sword in a fight with Gyuutaro, and in search of a new sword, Tanjiro visits The Village of the Swordsmith, where Haganezuka works.

 The main characters in the story are the highest ranking kenshi of Kisatsutai, the pillar Kasumi pillar Tokitoru Muichiro (CV: Kengo Kawanishi) and the love pillar Mitsuri Amarudera (CV: Kana Hanazawa).
