“More” is an additional episode originally written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi. It was not published in Weekly Shonen Jump during serialization but was included as a bonus chapter at the end of Volume 42, the final volume of the manga.
In the original ending, Izuku Midoriya also known as Deku and his classmates graduate from U.A. High School. Eight years later, Deku, having returned to being quirkless, works as a teacher at U.A. High School. During this time, he receives a specially developed armor created collaboratively by Class 1 A from All Might. With this, he once again takes to the skies alongside his classmates, now professional heroes, bringing the story to a close.

New Episode Expands on the Aftermath
The newly animated “More” continues this story beyond the final episode. When Volume 42 was released in December 2024, it generated massive reactions both in Japan and overseas.
The PV showcases the grown-up members of Class 1 A, including Deku, Katsuki Bakugo, Shoto Todoroki, and Ochaco Uraraka, eight years after their graduation. It also depicts them gathering for a special occasion. Additionally, Himiko Toga, a villain deeply connected to Ochaco, makes an appearance.
The trailer features emotionally resonant dialogue that reflects who these characters have become in the present, further heightening anticipation for this long-awaited animated adaptation of “More.”
