"Hunter x Hunter," which is currently on hiatus, ended its weekly serialization with Chapter 400, published in the issue of "Weekly Shonen Jump" released on December 26, 2022. The editorial department explained in the December 26, 2022, issue of "Weekly Shonen Jump" that, after discussions with Togashi considering his health, the series would no longer follow a weekly serialization format. They added, "Togashi-sensei is continuing to write the story, and the editorial team will continue to support him until the completion of 'Hunter x Hunter.' The series, which began serialization in 1998, follows the adventures of the young protagonist Gon and his friends, including his best friend Killua. The current arc, "Dark Continent Expedition" (Succession War Arc), depicts the various characters' clashes of intentions aboard a ship bound for an unexplored continent. This arc resumed serialization with Chapter 391 on October 24, 2022, after a break of three years and eleven months.
