The production of the fourth season of the TV anime "Osomatsu-san" has been confirmed. Alongside the announcement, a new visual and PV were released, and it was revealed that the cast would be returning. Celebratory comments from the cast, including Takahiro Sakurai (Osomatsu), Yuichi Nakamura (Karamatsu), Hiroshi Kamiya (Choromatsu), Jun Fukuyama (Ichimatsu), Daisuke Ono (Jyushimatsu), and Miyu Irino (Todomatsu), have also arrived.

The anime "Osomatsu-san" is based on the classic gag manga "Osomatsu-kun" by Fujio Akatsuka. It portrays the main characters, the six siblings, as useless, unemployed adults. The first season aired from October 2015 to March 2016, becoming a major sensation and even being nominated for the 2016 Buzzword of the Year, causing a social phenomenon.

The series continued with a second season from October 2017 to March 2018, followed by the release of the movie "Osomatsu-san the Movie" in March 2019. The third season aired from October 2020 to March 2021. In addition, "Osomatsu-san: Hipipo Tribe and the Shining Fruit" was released in theaters in July 2022, followed by "Osomatsu-san: Soul's Takoyaki Party and the Legendary Sleepover" in July last year. In 2022, a live-action film starring the popular idol group Snow Man was also released.

The newly revealed visual, illustrated by Eiji Abiko, the character designer since the third season, is intriguingly cryptic. It shows the folded hoodies usually worn by the six siblings, raising anticipation for what the fourth season will bring.

In the PV celebrating the announcement of the fourth season, the six siblings express their various emotions of excitement, joy, and resentment as they repeatedly shout "Season 4!"

Furthermore, a live broadcast of the "Six Sibling Radio" has been scheduled for 9 PM today to commemorate the announcement. Jun Fukuyama (Ichimatsu) and Daisuke Ono (Jyushimatsu) will host the show as "Six Sibling Radio," celebrating the fourth season with fans. All six voice actors will participate via live calls and voice messages.
