The second season of the TV anime Dandadan is set to premiere on July 3, airing every Thursday at 12:26 a.m. on MBS/TBS’s “Super Animeism TURBO” programming block, which spans 28 networks. Alongside this announcement, a new key visual and additional cast information were revealed.

The newly released key visual is radiant with golden hues and depicts Momo, Okarun in his transformed state, and Turbo Granny preparing for battle. Behind them looms a menacing face, with its mouth wide open and glowing purple eyes glaring forward—heightening the sense of impending danger and suspense.

It was also announced that Mutsumi Tamura will voice the character Evil Eye (JP: 邪視, Jashi), whose face had only been seen in visual teasers until now. Tamura will portray both the adult and childhood versions of the character, and the child version’s visual was also released.

Commenting on the role, Tamura shared her thoughts:

“The flashback scenes of Evil Eye’s past were very painful and sad. Watching how they longingly gazed at children playing… I felt so sorry for them and just wanted to set them free. I hope viewers feel the same. I also hope the contrast between Evil Eye's tragic past and their now menacing, monstrous form comes through powerfully.”
