The production of Season 2 of the TV anime Dandadan has been confirmed. The series will air starting in July 2025 on the MBS/TBS Super Animeism TURBO block.

The final episode of Season 1 was broadcast today, the 20th, where Momo and Okarun arrive at the hot spring town where Jiji’s house is located. Okarun and Jiji discover a room covered with talismans in Jiji’s house, while Momo relaxes in a hot spring. The episode ends with the appearance of a mysterious figure near Momo. Following the broadcast, a PV announcing the production of Season 2 was released.

The visual released for the second season showcases an ominous atmosphere, dyed entirely in purple. It features Jiji standing at the center, with the sinister eye of Jashi (Evil Eye) locking onto him. The foreboding artwork hints at the intense battles awaiting Momo, Okarun, Jiji, and Turbo Granny.

Additionally, a mini-program titled Dandadan Behind the Scenes will air on December 20 from 1:53 AM to 2:03 AM JST. The program will feature Shion Wakayama (Momo’s voice actor), Natsuki Hanae (Okarun’s voice actor), and director Fuga Yamashiro (via video message). They will discuss behind-the-scenes details from the production process and voice recording sessions. For those who miss the broadcast or live in areas where it cannot be viewed, an extended version of the program will be made available on the official YouTube channel, "MBS Anime & Drama Channel," after the TV airing.

The series is based on a popular manga serialized on Shonen Jump+ (Shueisha), which follows high school girl Momo Ayase, born into a family of spiritual mediums, and her classmate Okarun, an occult enthusiast. Together, they take on various supernatural phenomena in this occult-themed, thrilling battle and coming-of-age story.

The unique occult battle fantasy has gained significant attention, surpassing 4 million copies in circulation. Season 1 of the TV anime aired from October to December 2024.
