The second day of the large-scale event 'ONE PIECE DAY '24,' celebrating the popular series 'ONE PIECE,' was held on the 11th, featuring a special UT × ONE PIECE stage with appearances by the voice actors.

For the first time, the voice actors who play the various incarnations of Dr. Vegapunk gathered together, not even meeting during voice recording sessions. The group wore matching event-exclusive T-shirts, fostering a sense of unity. During the event, Shuhei Sakaguchi, who voices 'Shaka,' humorously teased Mutsumi Tamura, who voices 'York,' saying, "Thanks to you, we've had a rough time... How dare you show up here!" This lighthearted banter brought laughter to the audience.

Tamura responded with a laugh, saying, "It's not Mutsumi, it's York! We share the same brain, so let's get along!"

Aya Hirano, who voices 'Lilith,' added, "Even though we didn't meet during the voice recordings, we somehow developed a team spirit. When we stood together during rehearsal yesterday, I felt like, 'Yes, we're all Vegapunk.'"

Celebrating its third year, this year's event expanded its scale by splitting into two venues at Makuhari Messe, one for exhibitions and the other for live events. The open stage in the exhibition area will feature a selection of iconic scenes from the 'ONE PIECE' TV anime, a special UT × ONE PIECE stage, and a live recording of the radio show 'Straw Hat Space.'
