Naoko Yamada, who made her directorial debut with the TV anime "K-On!" and directed the films "A Silent Voice" (2016) and the upcoming "Your Color" (releasing August 30), has revealed the main visual for her original short animation "Garden of Remembrance."

At the "Anime Expo 2024" in Los Angeles on July 5 (local time), the full animation was premiered exclusively to attendees during the Avex Pictures panel. Following this, the main visual was unveiled.

In a video message, Yamada commented, "I created this work with deep affection, reflecting on the feelings for a loved one, small wishes, and the memory of holding hands, ensuring these memories are cherished and never forgotten."

The anime, themed around the anemone flower, vividly portrays the shifting emotions of three characters: "You," "Me," and "Childhood Friend." The animation production is handled by Science SARU, who previously collaborated with Yamada on the TV anime "The Heike Story" and the film "Your Colors (Kimi no Iro)." Character design is by manga artist Etsuko Mizusawa (known for her work on "Hana no Zubora-Meshi"), and the music is composed by singer-songwriter Lovely Summer-chan, known for her "cute and cool pop rock" style.
