On the 3rd, Hayakawa Publishing, a renowned publisher specializing in science fiction and mystery, announced the launch of a new comic site, "Hayakomi." The site will feature comic adaptations of classic SF and mystery novels, including Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None" and the landmark SF novel "Solaris." The official announcement on their X (formerly Twitter) account has received 360,000 views and over 2,000 likes.

Opening on July 23, "Hayakomi" will focus on comic adaptations of globally famous SF and mystery works, along with releasing original works. Additionally, these comics will be distributed internationally, providing a platform for readers who want to explore global classics and for creators who wish to share their manga worldwide.

The highlights of the launch include comic adaptations of "And Then There Were None," "Solaris," and "The Dawns Here Are Quiet."

The comic adaptation of Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None," the world's most-read mystery, will be illustrated by Aya Nikaido, who has previously worked on cover illustrations for Christie's works. This comic adaptation has already been sold to six countries.

The adaptation of Stanislaw Lem's seminal SF novel "Solaris" will be handled by Takehito Moriizumi, known for his unique style and world-building. The award-winning novel "Comrade Girl, Shoot The Enemy" by Toma Oshiba will be adapted by Yuki Kamatani, known for "Shonen Note."

Other titles in the lineup include Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot series, "Reincarnated Lady and Her Singular Life" (original story by Kamihara, manga by Shiro 46), Keanu Reeves' original comic "BRZRKR," and works by Kazuo Ishiguro.

Starting on July 23, "Hayakomi" will attract attention with its comic adaptations of world-famous SF and mystery classics.
