Movie My Hero Academia (MHA) Bonus: Special Comic & New Movie Ticket Visual Unveiled
The fourth theatrical installment of the anime "My Hero Academia" (HeroAca), titled "My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: You Are Next" (premiering on August 2), has released information about its special bonus for attendees.
The special comic "My Hero Academia Vol.Next" will be distributed to moviegoers, featuring exclusive content not available elsewhere. It includes a prequel story with a slice of life of Class 1-A, drawn by Kohei Horikoshi, the creator of the series. Additionally, the comic features design drafts and setting materials of original characters from the movie, such as Julio, Anna, and Darkmight.
The comic also includes an in-depth interview between Kohei Horikoshi and the artist Vaundy, as well as interviews with the cast and staff. This special comic, packed with content, will be distributed to a limited number of 1.5 million people nationwide, making it a rare collectible that can only be obtained at theaters.
Recently, the announcement of a special pre-sale ticket in the style of a "movieticket" drawn by Kohei Horikoshi, available exclusively to digital subscribers of "Weekly Shonen Jump," caused a stir on social media. Fans reacted with excitement, eagerly anticipating the visual reveal, which has now been unveiled.
The visual features a determined Deku with a sharp gaze and the cool expression of the original movie character Julio standing back-to-back, capturing a moment of calm before the storm. This exclusive visual will be featured on stickers and clear files bundled with the special movieticket, available only to subscribers of the digital "Weekly Shonen Jump" via the "Shonen Jump+" and "Zebrack" apps.
My Hero Academia, a popular manga series with over 100 million copies in circulation, is set in a world where superpowers, known as "quirks," are common. The story follows protagonist Izuku Midoriya (Deku) as he strives to become a hero who protects society from villains who misuse their quirks. The manga has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" since July 2014, and the first season of the TV anime premiered in April 2016. Currently, the seventh season of the TV anime is airing.
