The "Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc" covers episodes from volumes 15 to 16 of the original manga, where Tanjiro and his friends undergo training from the top-ranking swordsmen of the Demon Slayer Corps, the Hashira, to become even stronger.

"Demon Slayer" is based on the manga of the same name that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from February 2016 to May 2020, and has sold over 150 million copies. Set in the Taisho era in a world plagued by man-eating demons, the story follows Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family is killed by demons and whose sister Nezuko is turned into a demon. To avenge his family and restore Nezuko to human form, Tanjiro joins the Demon Slayer Corps and embarks on a journey.

The first season of the TV anime aired from April to September 2019, becoming a social phenomenon. The film "Demon Slayer: Mugen Train," which continues from the final episode of the anime, was released in October 2020, becoming a massive hit with over 40 billion yen in domestic box office revenue. The second season, "Entertainment District Arc," aired from December 2021, followed by the third season, "Swordsmith Village Arc," which began airing in April 2023.
