Hashira Training Arc Episode 4 Script Cover Revealed: Muichiro Tokito Smiling with a Paper Airplane

On ufotable's official X, the script for episode 4 "Able to Smile" of the new 'Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc' anime was revealed.

In episode 4, after overcoming Uzui's training, Tanjiro visits the Tokito residence next. The Demon Slayers who had already started training with Muichiro were disheartened by the harshness and strict words of the training. The episode depicts Tanjiro listening to the voices of the discouraged Demon Slayers and trying to figure out a solution. The revealed script cover shows Muichiro Tokito holding a paper airplane and Mitsuri Kanroji smiling.

'Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc' covers the episodes from volumes 15 to 16 of the original manga, featuring a story where Tanjiro and others undergo training with the highest-ranking swordsmen of the Demon Slayer Corps, the Hashira, to become even stronger.

'Demon Slayer' is based on the manga serialized in 'Weekly Shonen Jump' from February 2016 to May 2020, which has surpassed 150 million copies in circulation. The story is set in the Taisho era in a world inhabited by man-eating demons, and follows a boy named Tanjiro Kamado, whose family was killed by demons. He joins the Demon Slayer Corps to turn his sister Nezuko, who became a demon, back into a human, and to avenge his family.

The first season of the TV anime aired from April to September 2019, igniting its popularity and becoming a social phenomenon. The film 'Demon Slayer: Mugen Train,' which continues from the last episode of the anime, was released in October 2020 and became a huge hit, grossing over 40 billion yen in Japan. The second season "Entertainment District Arc" aired from December 2021, followed by the third season "Swordsmith Village Arc" which aired from April 2023.
